The Terms and Conditions published below apply to the Questionnaire Survey Prize Draws associated with research into the Glenkens Food Hub on behalf of Propagate Scotland CIC and administered by GAP Communications on behalf of the Glenkens Food Hub and Propagate Scotland CIC.

  1. The promoter of the prize draw is the Glenkens Food Hub – a project managed run by Propagate Scotland CIC of Ironmacannie Mill Cottage, Balmaclellan, Castle Douglas, DG7 3QS.

2. The administrator of the prize draw is GAP Communications, 55 Loudoun Road, Newmilns, KA16 9HJ.

3. The prize draw is open to all but excludes the following: Any employees, freelances, volunteers, trustees or partners of Propagate, the Glenkens Food Hub and GAP Communications, any producers, growers or farmers or other suppliers to Propagate or the Glenkens Food Hub.

4. There is no cost for entry to the prize draw.

5. Only one entry can be made to the prize draw.

6. No purchase is necessary. A purchase will not improve your chance of winning.

7. Winners will be drawn at random from all the completed questionnaires received before the survey closing date of midnight on Sunday 23rd April 2023. The draw will be made by an independent third party.

8. There is one prize for every 30 entries made to the prize draw. Prizes are of equal value and will allocated at random to winners. Each prize consists of:

1 (one) jar of Wildflower Honey from the Glenkens Honey Company
2 (two) cheeses from the Ethical Dairy Company: 1 x Rainton Tomme and 1 x Carrick 
1 (one) Scottish Wholemeal loaf and 1 (one) cake from the Earth’s Crust Bakery
1 (one) mixed punnet of microgreens from Beans Greens

9. Should any of the above products not be available the promoters and administrators reserve the right to substitute other local produce from Dumfries & Galloway. 

10. All items in the prize are suitable for vegetarians.

11. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes on offer and prizes are not transferrable.

12. No responsibility will be taken for any income tax or other tax liabilities incurred by the winners in receipt of the prizes outlined above.

13. Prize draw winners will be notified by text or email within 10 working days of the close of the survey – please ensure you have entered an up-to-date email address or phone number on the form.

14. In the event of an email address or a phone number not being valid, GAP Communications reserves the right to draw another winner.

15. Prizes will then be despatched by the Glenkens Food Hub by courier or Parcelforce to winners within 10 working days of GAP Communications receiving a valid postal address from a winner. Glenkens Food Hub and GAP Communications take no responsibility for delivery or non-delivery on part of the named courier.

16. Winners names will be available from the GAP Communications address after 8th May 2023. Winners names will NOT be publicised.

17. By entering the prize draw, questionnaire respondents agree to GAP Communications holding their personal data for administration of the prize draw. Should you not wish data to be held, the draw should not be entered.

18. No other use of personal data beyond the administration of the prize draw will be made.

19. Questions about the prize draw may be addressed to the promoters to the GAP Communications address.

20. This Prize Draw is governed by Scottish law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
